IIT Hyderabad Recruitment 2026 for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Post

The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad), Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering, has invited applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a BRNS-sponsored research project. The project titled “Microstructure-Texture-Property Correlation in Zr-Nb and Zr-Sn Alloys Processed by Warm-rolling” seeks candidates with a strong foundation in metallurgy and materials science. Candidates must meet either GATE qualification or CFTI graduation criteria and will be required to enroll in the Ph.D. program at IIT Hyderabad. This is a research-intensive, project-based post with progression from JRF (Year 1–2) to SRF (Year 3) based on performance. The application process is online and closes on 23 February 2026.
